Don’t Willingly Destroy Your Life

Problem:

With the prevailing economic crisis in the country, most children struggle to have their daily 3 meals. Likewise, due to the soaring prices of paper and stationery, purchasing books and other stationery has also become a challenge. Malnutrition is on the rise among young children. Unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, we see children islandwide suffering. Families islandwide are approaching the devastating state of destitution.

Insight:

We purchase goods from supermarket shelves daily but rarely do we go to a supermarket and leave something behind on those shelves.

Idea:

The Giving Shelf

Designing a shelf within a supermarket where goods that children may find useful can be donated.
